Keeping the faith

Tonight I was chatting online with the girl I really want my brother to marry...she's a teacher too, seeking her master's in educational administration. She didn't have a great day today. I didn't have a great day today either. I make my students take notes. And because I am teaching two subjects I keep the same class of students for about two hours. I always teach math first and then science. So today I say "Friday we talked about functions and relations. Today we're talking about graphing functions." Not 30 seconds later I have a student ask me if this is "math or science?"

L is frustrated with some parents. She has the right to be...lots of times we have a right to be upset with parents. These parents send their children to us every day, and often don't trust us to do our jobs well.

You know what the best part of this is, though? I STILL love my job! I can't wait to get there every day! Even if I get frustrated...extremely frustrated. I absolutely love it! I've got to keep the faith that God wouldn't let me do something for a living where I am miserable. I don't know anyone who doesn't get frustrated with their jobs, but I have faith that God has me where he needs me and where he can use me best!
